First time snake owner joining in : )

I’ve been browsing the forum for awhile. Something finally knocked the stupid out of me and I decided to join.

I bought my first corn snake in September, a baby amelanistic corn. He/she is growing well, and feeding quite well. : )

I just recently graduated college with a BA, so I’m finally able to start living for a change. This is my first pet snake and I’ve been thrilled with the little one. When I was young, I would always pester my mom to take me to the library to get books on snakes. I always wanted to own a red tailed boa (Now that I’m much older, I’m so glad I never made that mistake - beautiful snakes, not the snake for me though.). I’m quite happy to own my first snake, and I’m glad it is a corn. I have a feeling though this won’t be my last snake, as I’m already wanting to bring another into my life. I think that can wait awhile longer though. I still need to get settled down, and enjoy my first baby as she/he grows up.

Glad I found a good group of knowledgeable folks to hopefully help me along with the journey of owning the first corn snake. : )

Sounds like you know how to research since you recently graduated college. It's all here but if you need help just send a post ...and a picture of your corn when you can.

Good Luck
