First time snake owner without a snake!

He's still hiding in his little cup. I have it sitting on the cooler side of his cage. He's been there for 3 hours now and hasn't tried coming out. I'm leaving for work in an hour and I'm nervous about not being able to check on him every 10 minutes lol. I'm sure he'll be fine though
 
husband took this picture of him while I was at work! He got to see him exploring his new home. Now that I'm back, he's hiding again lol. Figures

Hi I am new here but gotta ask.. where did you get the Tardis ( blue police phone box )from lol.. if my husband would see that he would want one to have on hand when we are ready to start setting up for our first snake.
 
He is so cute, and nice setup! I would ditch the lamp though, the UTH us all you need for heat, the lamp just dries everything out. You did a great job with your research too; most people buy corns on a whim, with no research first.

Sorry for the really late response! Didn't see your post. Anyway I got the Tardis off of ebay from a seller in Canada! Couldn't find any in the US. It is actually a fish aquarium ornament- http://www.ebay.com/itm/Doctor-Who-...1156198981?pt=Decorations&hash=item23319c8e45
