Flex Weird Wiring Question...

What is this all about? Can Flexwatt be wired at one point?

I don't think that's Flexwatt. It looks like a premade heating pad. See the writing on it? It looks like some sort of certification from some governing body. Looks like the symbol is CE. Flexwatt doesn't have that. It can't be certified because you wire it yourself.

That is the same stuff. I may be different wattage per foot than your typical flexwatt that you'd buy from reptile basics, but it's essentially the same thing, just by a different company. I am sure there is a way to wire up your flexwatt like that...however I don't have the slightest clue how...lol...

i agree it does look like flex watt. but that looks like you just plug it in,flex watt needs a thermostat to control the heat, that type of flex...im assuming will need it as well. i have seen some new type of under tank heating pads that look very simalar sold in the petco's/petsmart stores.
the thing that gets me though is why its connected in the middle?? just seems like you'll lose 1/3 of the "matt". just m.o.... that would really be my only problem.i dont think it would work any less for you wired that way...just odd?

I will continue to wire mine the same way (on the end), I just found it odd that I found these wired that way.
