Well Buddeh was having an issue again feeding since his last two feedings were after a 54 day starvation. So I went back and tried an old trick I used in the past when I bought troubled eaters.

I placed the FT feeder into a pillow case, then place Buddeh in. Left him for 15 mins checked and POW NOM NOM NOM, he was eating. This has worked for me many times in the past and looks to work again.

Try it, you maybe surprised it could work for you as well.

Cheers

Got to add that one to the list!! ; )

Im about to try this,i have a baby I've had for 19 days now and will not eat for nothing .Starting to worry. She drinks plenty of water just won't eat.

For only having had the baby for 19 days, you should have only offered food 2-3 times. I'm not saying don't try this, but offering food too much WILL stress her out and put her off food even longer.

Sorry if this sounds a bit dumb but what is an FT feeder?

My fiancée and I are having difficulty feeding our 5 year old male corn, Zoro. We've had him approximately 1 month and he hasn't eaten a thing. But he shed today, so we presume that is why he hasn't eaten up til now. We tried him with a mouse and he still won't eat, but this may be because he had just shed?

We've have two other corns since they were babies, and these are a male (Jinx) and female (Cyrus), both about 18 months old. The male can be a bit fussy sometimes but always does eat eventually. We've never had any feeding issues at all with the female. These are kept in a vivarium above Zoro's vivarium, so might they be a bit too close for comfort?

We also have three cats, who have prowling privileges throughout the house, but we don't try and feed Zoro when they're in the room. Has anyone ever had trouble feeding snakes where they have other animals in the same house.

Any advice would be helpful. We have already tried braining a mouse, different sized mice (from pinkies to a almost full grown mouse), and locking him in a box on his own, in a room on his own!

Thank you

Debbie and Adam
