For those that feed Mazuri...

I have a question for those that use Mazuri for their feeder mice. What kind do you use? I look on the Mazuri site and there are things like 6F, 9F, etc...

I'm contacting a couple local feed stores/co-op's to see if they carry Mazuri. Is this something that they would carry in stock, or is it something you would order through them?

I don't feed Mazuri to my mice, it's hard to find around my area. A good mouse feed though if it is available in your area is LabDiet 5015. It's also a lab block formulation and my mice do great on it.

If the feed store carries Purina products then they should be able to order anything from Mazuri that you need. I feed the 6F as it has the lowest % of fat and theoretically, a leaner mouse makes for a leaner snake.

I feed 9f mouse breeder... Like Mike said Purnia dealers can usually order it. I am paying around 25 dollars a 50 lb bag....

Purina and Mazuri are the same company so like others said, a feed store that has Purina should have Mazuri. I would also recommend the 6F. I fed my rats on it for a while and it worked out pretty good. I usually got it due to the lower protein levels.
