FOUND A CORN IN SW ONTARIO!!

So I was working in a valve chamber today and looked over to my left to see two snakes up against a sewage transmission main within the chamber. The one was a rust covered garter but the other stood right out especially after all my time here on the forums!
But WTH was it doing in one of my chambers!!??
I rescued them both but the "corn" came home with me!!
Here are a few pics we took before attempting to feed him.
it didnt eat but i put the pinky in with him/her for the night.
Guess time will tell how he does. He was pretty active when i had him out but hes currently sitting in the center inactive.

I'm curious about its morph. Borders appear black and thick. Black iris with a red pupil. darker saddles.
Let me know your thoughts and opinions and any suggestions on how to deal with him.

It might be difficult to get him to take pinks. I _might_ try a boiled pink, next. But be prepared to release him- you could be in for a long battle, otherwise. It's very disheartening to work with a snake that won't eat because you aren't feeding it its natural diet.

Thanks all. If it isnt a corn and its a local snake i will release it. I have seen local milks but never like this.

They are quite beautiful especially when young. You are very lucky to have found one! There is a small demand for them in the pet trade, but you have to be careful to get one that eats mice.

Its definitely an Eastern Milk Snake. Corn Snakes are not native to Canada. Here's a little one from Ohio.

I thought it was too good to be true! I am aware they are not native here. I thought it was an escapee or a release to wild. In all my years out in nature I have never seen one. I have no doubt now that its an eastern milk.
I did think that the head seemed too stubby to be a corn but it seemed to have everything else a corn has.
I will be releasing it tomorrow in a safe wooded area i know of. Thanks again for all the fast replies and links.

Here is a picture of an eastern milk I found in Ohio a few years ago. Cool snakes but they do not do well in captivity. Good for you to let him go

Very handsome snake. An extremely lengthy milk snake (thing looked like it was 6 feet, but I was just looking at it from my car window), crossed my driveway a couple months ago. Second time I've ever seen one, I see hundreds of garters though.
