I guess htere is something wrong with the front part of his lower jaw? There's something missing I think.... Those teeth are gruesome! Suppose it's some kind of python, but I'm reallt not into boids... I'd like to know though!

I have no idea what it is..he looks like he's behind some sort of electrical fencing or something in the first pic.

My aunt sent these pics to me..lol

It's an afrock python who tried to crawl through an electrical fence and ended up dying. He was striking the fence b/c of the pain.

I have seen that before, both on the net and posted here a ong time ago. There was an article that went with it but I have no idea where it was...

That is in African rock python, and what is the deal? I hope they he/she is ok...cause they are such wonderful snakes.

Yep, it is an African Rock Python. The email I received (and there is a bunch of 'em out there) said it was found in Iraq when it was actually located at the Silent Valley Game Ranch in S. Africa. The information I've been able to find said the snake was appx. 13 ft. long and had just eaten a full grown Impala Ewe. When it attempted to crawl under the fence it was, sadly, electrocuted.

I'm sure it was already dead from electrocution... Plus you would need a lot more than one person to free a snake like that in distress... Even then, it would still be ridiculously dangerous...
