Freezing Mice

NFS07

Stolen
So after talking it over with my mom she is not fond of me feeding live (which is fine) and she does not want me keeping dead mice in our main freezer. So thats a problem because our other one is super super cold and tends to give things frost bite and I think it's full with deer meat and such. So I was wondering if I could keep them in one of those small split ones, you know with the small feezer on top and the fridge below. Would that keep them cold enough?

Thanks!

Probably your deer meat is getting frost bite from not being wrapped well enough and staying in there forever? I have my mice in Tupperware, and inside the Tupperware I have them in ziplock bags with the air squeezed otu as much as I can. I haven't had freezer burn since I started storing them this way.

Sorry I didn't answer the original question- I don't know.

Actually, the colder the better, as it kills off any possible parasites more quickly.

As Nanci said, just make sure to wrap them as air-tight as possible.
