Fun things to put in viv?

I've had Pedro (my snake) a while now 3 or 4 months, and I've been wondering do you think that If I put some fun stuff (branches stuff for them to crawl on) do you think he may come out of his hide a little more? I doubt it :rolleyes: And, what kind of fun stuff should I put in?
 
He may or may not come out of his hides more. Mine seem to find a favorite hiding spot and then just stay there most of the time.
I think the branches and other decorations make the viv look more apealing, and it makes it more interesting when they do come out of hiding and crawl around.
 
for a while i used to put a mug tree in the viv, secured down for stability. Chione used to climb up it and then go rest on the ledges at the top of the tank.
She`s become a little too big for that now though so i`ve removed it.
 
We have a 11 month old corn and my swears she never sees the snake out. But she is out at night all the time until we turn on a light. Some snakes are just shy.

My snake stays in her hide all the time until a night or two before her regular feeding time, when she starts getting hungry and "hunting" for mice (I assume). But if you want to put some cool stuff in there, you can go to the pet store or a home store and get some plastic plants, or go outside and find a nice stick. Make sure to soak it in bleach and bake it before you put it in the cage--don't want any parasites or disease carried into the cage.
 
My amel is out every night and crawls all over the viv and up the big branch I have in there for her. She also likes to hang out in the planter for her plant. I never see my aztec out very much, but she's a lot more nervous than my amel.
 
I've put all sorts of things in Charlie's viv over the years (including things I've made myself and chunks of trees out the garden!) and you know what he spends most his time doing? Climbing up and sitting on the viv's glass doors :rolleyes:
