Go-go Rescue Dragon!

Attack Iguana
Newest addition (for the next couple hours): Bearded Dragon.

I took this female home after her owner told me that he couldn't keep her at the store any longer, but was in the process of moving so he could not take his pair home either. Technically I'm just 'babysitting' but I'm growing attached to her so I might actually buy her from the guy. She's sustained some pretty elaborate injuries to her right foreleg thanks to the male she was mating with taking a nice chomp (or 4) out of her. It's pretty much healed, but since he did not take her to a vet when the incident occurred she doesn't have full use of it anymore (can't really bend the elbow.) She's also missing part of her tail where the male bit it off.

Injuries aside, she's a fierce little girl. She destroys all live (or f/t) prey with unrelenting fury, as if she felt compelled to demonstrate to all passerby that "I may have a useless leg but I'll still kick your a**"

Attached are some mediocre pictures. Also, she's yet to be named. Does anyone have any good suggestions?

Pic #1 is amazing showing off all her head colors, beautiful. susan

You should see her colors when she's happy/asleep. They're very vibrant and light.

I love beardies congrats! My good friend has one named Mango and another named Rowan - I'll sure you will find the perfect name!

She's beautiful! You should definitely buy her. Beardies are such cool pets with hilarious personalities.

You should check out bearded dragon.org for name ideas and such.

I definitely agree. beardeddragon.org is a great community; any and all questions (along with great name ideas) can be found there.

She's a pretty little girl, injuries aside. Good luck with her, however it goes.

I love her eyes - and the way she seems to be looking up at you, not at the camera! She's cute (not the biggest lizard fan here, but I do like some of them!) and has some great colors! So sad about her injuries though.

Good luck with her if you do end up buying her!

Jenn
