Here's the snake I had wanted from the beginning and I would like to thank Mr. Soderberg at SMR for the little guy. He's a granite so he got named Balboa. Silly I know but there's my sense of humor :bird: I had never seen a granite before in person until I got this little one, so I'm wondering if he'll darken up as he ages? He's almost 2 months old. Either way, I think he's adorable!

This is a pic. of my 2011 guy. (how fast they grow!) I've noticed that whatever hets a snake has in it's genetics, can modify their appearance. Mine is possible het for lavender & he has a very lavender background color, which doesn't show up in this photo. Granite is also one of my favorites! You have a great looking snake!
Joanna, this is your baby!

Eiram, granite is my favorite and was my first choice/preference when I picked up my snake a couple weeks back, but the wife and kid liked the Anery, so we rolled with that.

The head on yours looks so cool with all that silver coloring popping out. Be sure to post updates post shed of that beauty, it's progression should be real fun to watch. Thanks for sharing!

Yeah I'm so excited to watch him grow! Hi and thanks Sindrik8x, I think you're about an hour away from me :D

Yeah that'd be awesome. There's one in Manassas this month that some friends and I are going to.

By the way, I really shouldn't post stuff at 12am. Balboa is a charcoal and I'm an idiot :dunce::dunce:

Eiram, I'll be out of town for the one this month, but plan on attending the one in October. And maybe the next one in Richmond, whenever that is. Need to pick up a couple of items to improve Cruella's cage. Mainly a backdrop/background image or texture, some peat moss and a closed in hide to aide her in shedding.

If I can convince my wife to get snake number two, all the better. But, it's looking more like Spring 14' for that.

Haha good luck getting that second snake. Hey if you can, maybe post those expos information (like just dates and locations) in the general chit chat section when it gets close to their show dates? I have a hard time getting information or even hearing about expos that aren't super close to me.

Will do Eiram. Might be able to get to it today. Think there is one each month in our area for at least the next four months.
