The only health food store I know is GNC, I know thats horrible!lol Anyways, I can check there along with maybe look in the phone book for herbalists. Maybe they will have it or an idea where to get it. Of course theres always the internet too! I just wanted to know what brand everyone else was using. Or if you have found the best price etc? Thanks!

No. GSE is an antibiotic. Its used to kill off some types of parasites, bacteria, fungal, and some viral infections.
With cornsnakes or other animals, it is mainly used as a preventative measure in water. Stagnant water will easily grow bacteria--usually a reddish tint in the bowl/water line. A drop or two prevents this bacteria from growing.

GSE is GSE. I just use Vitamin Worlds brand. I use it mainly as danvega and dwyn127 said - to keep water fresh and free of most pathogens. After I wash out the water bowl with water and vinegar, I use a quart spray bottle filled with water and about 40 - 50 drops of GSE to spray the bowl. I swish it around, then dump most of it, but leave a residue to dry in the bowl. Then I fill it with clean water. I assume that some of the GSE will remain, but really have no way to know how much is still there.
You could also add a few drops to the water pitcher before you fill the bowls. But taste it first - if you use too much, it will be bitter and the snakes won't drink it. It has been used in humans in many countries for the same thing, so is considered safe to drink or to use as a consumable germicidal cleaning agent (when diluted with water, as it is an extremely low pH product).
I use Nutri Bac both as a preventative (for new snakes or stressed snakes) and a treatment for digestive problems. It is a probiotic and will hopefully multiply in the digestive tract so there will be less room and more competition for any pathogens.
