Gravid Behavior?

BSLMichael

Below Sea Level Reptiles
My female, Nimue, who I believe is gravid is acting odd... She is ALOT more flighty and stays all day in her lay box. I figured I'd TRY to feed her today and she has no interest.

I didn't go through this with Tsunami. Tsunami never went in her nesting box and never refused food... in fact she ate then the next day laid.

What is normal Gravid behavior?

Yes that is very normal gravid behaviour. The other one not so much. I have never had a tragic snake eat post lay shed. Usually the stop eating a week or so before then once they go blue I know it is coming.

Does Tragic = gravid? xD

I don't feed from pre-lay shed till the female lays. The eggs need all the room they can get without having to fight for space with a digesting meal. Plus, if there are complications, it's better to have the female cleaned out.
