Green rep power boxes

Hi Guys,

I know I've been gone a lot lately and haven't made it on here as often as I used to, but when I came back this time I noticed that everyone has those green "rep power" boxes stretching out to kingdom come. I guess my question is, has something changed recently in the way that those boxes were earned? I seem to remember that even the MOST trusted/popular members would have at most like 5 or 6 boxes, and now *lots* of people have 10 or 11 of these boxes. I guess I'm just curious to know if something changed, or if everyone just got really generous with their positive comment rating thingies.

Now that I look at it, its actually kind of embarassing that some of the newer members have more boxes than I do. [peeks out from behind her three piddly boxes and waves] *sigh* thats what happens when ya don't stick around I guess. Hehe.
 
The "green boxes" just represent the amount of rep points given to you. For every 100 rep points given you get one "green box".

As peoples rep power (the number next to the green boxes) grows larger they are capable of giving you more rep points and that is why every one has so many green boxes now.

But don't feel embarrassed because your rep points and power have very little meaning now because of the way some people use it.

Haha, okay, so basically everything is still the same as it was before...people just must like to give lots of rep points now. I guess thats not such a bad thing.
