22 is not enough snakes
Here are two of ours from a clutch about two years ago. Both of these started out as reds and both became really really dark before the color change. The one ended up retaining a lot of the black and from what we've seen over the past couple of months it seems to be getting even darker. The other (less black) one still has more black than the others of the clutch and has a really unique shade of green among our group.

We have some full siblings to these ready to hatch out in early January but I can't wait to breed these two to try for some higher-black offspring in a couple of years! Neither of the parents have any black on them aside from a scale or two here and there, so these two were definitely the surprise of the clutch!
