everything under the sun.
My savannah monitor, Ickis, is a growing machine. I love him to death, and he is by far my favorite reptile I own. He's got a great personality ;).

I love the first pic of him sticking his tongue out. What a great looking monitor. You can even see his personality in his eyes.

Absolutely too kewl! How is he? Is he flighty at all (pics don't indicate so). Is he vicious at all? The only monitors I've ever seen have been really MEAN MACHINES - ready to bite fingers off at a moment's notice.

He looks smart and friendly... or is he simply trying to get your finger?

Thanks for sharing!

Actually, he has never shown any signs of aggression towards me. None, what so ever. He's not easily frightened either, he's actually incredibly curious. If I have him on my lap while I'm watching tv, and eating or drinking anything, he makes sure that he reminds me that he's there and would like to know what I'm doing. He's nosey! Now, he has biten me once, but let go immediately once he realized he had bit the hand that feeds; a simple mistake of fingers for food. All in all, he's absolutely lovely! I don't know what I would do without him around the house :).

Wow. Now THAT is something I'd love to have around the house too. It would be too kewl!

Is he "free-range" all the time or just a few minutes every day?

Sorry for all the questions, but I'm amazed!

LOL.

he gets to come out every day for about two hours, thirty minute intervals of course. at the moment, he's still too small to have run of the house. When he's big enough, i'll probably allow him to live in my own room. :) I have to work on potty-training him.
