Guess the Morph...

PikaBun

Ex-pet shop girl
Hi! I had an adult corn given to the pet store I work at and was trying to figure out it's morph. It looks mostly normal, frosted dull orange saddles, fadded tan background - but it has almost no black markings around the saddles etc. and it's belly checkers are yellow. Is it het for something, or not normal? Most normals I have seen have been richly coloured with marooon saddles but this one seems faded compared to those. The poor thing has a dead eye too but I have no idea what happened.

Any pictures? Pictures GREATLY assist in morph determination. It could be a rootbeer (cross between an Albino corn and a Great Plain rat snake), or he could just be unique.

Hmm saddles are looking wider then normal, as opposed to emoryi like (I have an emoryi myself). I almost thought 'crappy looking banded crimson' when I saw it. Didn't have live batteries for my camera today - oops. Plus I have never seen a crimson in person.

Maybe just a lighter normal. Normals very a lot, and without pics, that would be my best guest.

Another suggestion...could it be a Hypo (Hypomelanistic=reduced black)?

Photos would help a lot though :)

I own a hypo but this other snake would have to be the worst hypo I'd ever seen if he/she is one XD I am still leaning on crappy crimson but I'll take a couple shots on Saturday.

Just came across a Hanney ultramel corn that looks quite similar, though brighter:
