Some people wait 48 hours, some people wait 72 hours. I wait 48 hours, but if I see a visible lump on the second day, I wait another day. I have a couple snakes, Choco in particular, who are out and very active the next day. Too bad, Choco!
I always like to wait until I see some poop in the cage before I handle my snake after feeding. However the size of the poop matters also, so I know for sure its not a holdover from the last feeding.
I usually wait about 48 hours or so, and like the others have said, it all depends on circumstance.
Like when my Corn had his last single pinkie, the lump was gone by the next day and was active the day after, so I handled him. But he had his first fuzzy yesterday, so that may take him a little longer. :grin01:
