has anyone got pics of a Miami phase?

I don't think it is really cool to just say this and then don't tell which you think are not miami's (read; miami phases). If you say 'A', you oughta say 'B' too IMO  If you don't want a discussion, don't start one.

Besides that, if we expect miami's to look like Carol's gorgeous critters only, she probably would almost be the only one owning them. According to general accepted definitons mine does earn the name miami phase for example, but though for Dutch 'morphquality' he is quite well colored (if I might say so), compared to Carol's he's maybe just 'in' (ranting stopped :grin01: ).
I'm ALWAYS up for a good discussion, that's why I hang out here. You are right, I should have added The "IMO" to my post, sorry.
And for the record, you're big boy was not one of the ones I thought did not look like a Miami, IMO :wavey:

Here's my miami girl Chitto. She's from one of those hefty fast growing miami lines. (Lower Ground Reptiles)

Does the miami definition still include those with light tan backgrounds? I know the silver ones are more favored, but I have a crimson male with a definite light tan background. I don't know if the terminology has changed or what?

I didn't expect mine wasn't 'classified' IYO  :grin01: I also thought some might not 'qualify' though but I didn't feel like discussing multiple snakes at a time...

From South Moutain Reptiles:

Miami Phase Corn Snake
Pantherophis guttatus
Rich red or orange on silver, tan, or gray background.

Considering the quality of Don's animals, it's kind of surprising that the Miami he has pictured is not a great example (imho):

For me this one is on the thin line of being a miami phase... maybe even on the wrong side next to it. So, if I the 'rich' is replaced with 'bright', it's the definition of a Crimson? To me Crimsons were tannish corns with bright orange saddles.

I know I already posted pics of Capote on this thread, but he shed last night and he looks GORGEOUS, so I thought I would show him off again!
