HATCHLING THREAD (VOL. 3) 2014-2015 Edition

Gottcha. That's really great man. I hope it does well for ya.

The reason I asked about the bottom jaw is, I hatched one simular to this years ago when I live back in Louisiana.
It was just a little less split, kinda two faces on one head and only one bottom jaw. It only lived a couple days :awcrap:

:crazy02:BOUT' CORNS !!

Thanks man. Yeah I really didn't expect this one to eat. The jaw seems really funky.

Ya know, after looking at it again and again........LOL, it looks as if it might actually do well.
I mean it seems that it's very possible that it only has one throat. Has it drank for you ??

Also, how about a toung (or two) have you seen any flicker ??

Both heads drink, I've seen a tongue, just can't recall if I've seen both? I should start paying more attention I guess??

This is a suspected Lavender Kastanie. I had 3.8 pairings of these. The parents were Normals Het Amel Striped Kastanie Lavender. I got some Lavenders in the clutches, even a Striped Opal, and then there are 2 of these guys.

In fish (at least the zebrafish I worked with) you can actually induce two-headedness by centrifuging the embryo at very early development. Wonder if something similar could be done with snake eggs, not that anyone would find it ethical to do so.

How long do you think he will last? He's so cute! I did read back some of the things but I've forgot, mentioning that he's just got one tongue?
