have you ever had dreams of snakes?

don't worry about it. Maybe we should all take those hardcore sleeping pills for sleeping so that we can't remember our dreams and maybe that will solve the problems

Since we do Snake avoidance training for dogs, we have rattlesnakes at the house a few times a year when the snake handler brings his. Occasionally I'll have dreams about trying to catch the rattlesnakes that have gotten loose or something. They of course, have never gotten loose, and I really think they are an awesome animal, but it's not something I want crawling around the livingroom :)

a dream i had a long time ago was where i "went" to Rich's house and went into a room full of snakes in deli cups. All of his hatchlings i assume. He told me he wanted to grab a surprise for me and to follow him. Wherever he stepped the deli cups disappeared but when i followed they came back. I tried to be careful but i smushed a little snake and he said that instead of the opal stripe bloodred he was going to give me i had to take the dead one home =(

About 4 months ago my friend bought a corn and i fell in love, week later I was buying my own. I sould tell you I had never touched a snake before that week and they did give me the heebie geebies. The entire next week after buying my corn Casper I had nightmares of being bitten by random cornsnakes. One night they bit me in a grocery store. Weird huh? Anyways the last dream I had Casper bit me and I said "wow, that didn't even hurt!" Woke up the next day and without any fear of them at all. Now I just ordered my second corn (bloodred) form Rich.

Once I had a dream where my female got out of her cage and started laying eggs all around my room, the babies began to hatch and were all kind of different colors, then I tried to grab as many of them as could so they wouldn't get away....but no matter what I did I couldn't catch any of them. =(

So Sad! :(

A while ago, about 5 or 6 months ago, I had a horrible dream about my snake Spyke. I couldn't tell you details now, but at the time, i had only had him for about 4 or 5 months and i was completely in love with him. I had wanted a corn snake since i was a little child and i finally had one of my own. I played with him everyday (except the 48 hrs after feeding) and was so proud to call him mine. Then one night i had a dream that brought me to tears. I dreamt that somehow he escaped from his tank and got outside and someone found him and without thinking, killed him. And by killing i mean chopped his head off with some kind of shovel :crying: Well....needless to say, i woke up crying and immediately jumped out of bed and looked for my beloved Spyke in his cage. Sure enough he was there resting peacefully, but i was so terrified that i couldn't go back to sleep and told my mother the whole dream, fighting back tears. I believe that was the worst dream i have had in years. :crying:

I'm still giggling about the dream I had in which I was having my snake measured up for his very own jet pack. As you do.

I think the dreams are personally trying to scare you! And i had a dream just like yours exept it was a cobra in my cousins backyard trying to attack me and my cousins but i was perfectly safe!

actually, nearly all my nightmares involve snakes, but never my nice dreams
best not to analyse this
Skye

The thing is the symbols in your dreams don't really mean what in reality you think it is, each symbol has a different meaning and context explains alot. So just because something you may think is bad is not a bad thing.
