Hello All-New corn owner in AZ

Copper08

New member
I got my 10 yr old a corn snake for xmas & she fell in love with "her" (not sure-lol) the moment she saw her!! She keeps a very detailed record of all events since day one. We are very proud of her!! We are also very thankful that Kathy Love told us about this site!! ALL of you seriously ROCK!!! The corn was 5 mos. old when I got her from a co-worker. Being a first time snake owner, thank heavens you all are here and have posted so many interesting and important posts!!!

Thanks Again!!!

Hey Copper08! :wavey: Are you a friend of Kathy's? She's a goddess around here! ;)

Have you any photos of your baby? (OR your snake?) :)

Welcome to the site! There are many many great people who offer fantastic advice. Dont be a stranger and join us all in the chat rooms from time to time. Glad to see another fellow AZn here :)

I emailed Kathy for some advice and in her reply, she told me about this site!! She IS awesome!!! She replied to my email in like less than 10-15 mins and straightened me out on few worries I had at the time!! Oh don't worry, I have new one's every day-lol. Could any of you tell me where I can post a picture of her, for identification purposes? We don't know what kind of corn she is??

Thanks a bunch!!!

There's a photo gallery board on the forum that you can post any pics on. Let us know if you have trouble posting the pic.

Hello and welcome!
Kathy Love's advice would be an excellent way to be introduced to snakes.
You've got a lot of good snake-company in AZ, and a lot of nice native reptiles. Keep an eye out in the General Chit-chat forum and Natural History/Field Observation for posts of your local reptiles.

Thank you all for the awesome welcome!! I'm going to post pictures of her right now and hoping we will find out what kind of corn she(??) is lol. Thanks Again!!

Welcome to the site from a fellow Arizonan (transplant) in Mesa! Glad you found the site and that you found Kathy. Can't go wrong there.

Hope you figure out how to post pics so we can see her.

Congrats!!!

Yea, hmm, that didn't work out to well-lol. All the pics are too big? I'm trying to figure out how to resize them, without loosing too much details!! We're so anxious in knowing what kind of corn she is!! We call her "she" because we read an article stating that the tail is narrower on females than males?? I don't remember it exactly, but she did seem to fit the description.

HI Copper08! I am sure you get many answers to your ID of the snake once you can get her up for us. We use our photosmart program to downsize the mega pixs and we do not lose any detail.
Welcome aboard!!

Smiles
PJ :wavey:

Welcome, enjoy the stay.

The beauty of this site is that snake owners throughout the world can talk, offer advice and laugh and cry together.
