Hello!

I've just bought my first corn snake and have called him Henry. I'm assuming he's a male, but I will be taking him for a check up and sexing by a vet once he's completed his shed. He's just gone into blue, which is very exciting for me, but it means he's pretty quiet and in hiding so I'm leaving him in peace for now. He's an adult, so I'm guessing he's at least 3 years old as he's about 4.5 ft now, but he's the most docile, sweet natured snake I've ever handled and I've handled a few!

I shall post some pictures once he's less shy and finished his shedding. His colour is not remarkable, so I assume he's a Carolina or something similar, maybe you guys can help me out when I post some pics.

I look forward to participating in this forum. I'm also taking delivery of a Pokie Metallica tarantula on Friday, so I'm very excited about that too! Feel free to ask for pics if you're interested in seeing her/him. :wavey:

Hello Jacquie, welcome.

Your story sounds almost the same as mine, except this is my (son's) first snake.

We have just bought her, she is around 4.5 ft and has also just gone into blue and hiding!
