Hello from Hannover, Germany

Hi everyone! :wavey:
I found this forum when I was surfing on the net. It's great to have an international place to talk about cornsnakes. I have 3 of them!

I'm 22 years old and study veterinary medicine. I'd like to be a vet for reptiles one day;).

Well Hello Mrs Snape.
We are glad you can join us. Just search around a bit and if you have a question or two just ask...

Enjoy your stay.

Thanks for your kind reply.
I really hope to learn more things about corn snakes but this doesn't seem to be difficult here:D.

Welcome, welcome to the forum. Always nice to see new members. From Germany too, that is great. Good luck with the Veterinarian Schooling, because the community could always use more that specialize in reptiles.

Welcome again,

Wayne

Hello and welcome.
This place is for corn snakes, and more. A vet is nice to have around, how long have you been in school?

:D Thanks to you all!

@alan: I have been in vet school for 5 semesters now. It takes 11 semester till you're a vet so I still have a lot to learn;).

Hello welcome too .
There are a lot of European members here , from Germany to Holland and Belgium ( me ) and Sweden , Finland , England .....
Place to meet each other is here or at the German(Hamm) or Holland(Houten) shows .
Next one is in your neighborhood ; The German Snakeday at Bad Fallingbostel 21 june . We will join the show there , we have booked a table .

Hope to meet you one of these shows

Greetings Marc V

Maybe I'll be in Bad Fallinbostel, too. I can't say for sure yet but it's quite close to where I live. Although it's always very "dangerous" for me to go to a reptile expo since I can't stop myself from buying an new corn snake:D.

Hello! And Welcome! I live in Pa. just an hour away from the American Hanover.

I'm an honorary member because I haven't quite gotten a corn snake-----YET! I just have a colorful worm. ( Kenyan sand boa. ) But the urge to get a corn is getting very strong. ( At the worst time of year! Everyone's snakes are either in the love shack or guarding eggs! ) BTW if you love corn snakes DON'T BUY KATHY LOVE'S BOOK! It makes the corn snake-owning disease worse! I just got it yesterday in the mail and I'm devouring and digesting it. At least I am every time I can yank it away from my hubby whose "not into snakes"!

Anyway, we're going to want to see pics of your brood if no one has told you yet. We love to coo over other people's snakes.

If you have any questions about anything corn snake related, this is the forum for you. We have a lot of really knowledgeable snake geeks here. ( I mean that fondly guys! )

Devon

3 horses, 3 barn cats, 3 house cats, 1 ancient old Borzoi dog and 1 Kenyan sand boa with a sense of humor. More snakes coming!

Hey cool. I knew there was a Hannover in the USA but I didn't know where exactly. Now I know!

I didn't know that snake-owning disease can become worse;). When I bought my first corn I said "One snake is enough for me". Yeah, it seems I was really a bit mentally deranged when I said that.
I only have 3 corns but that's just because there ist no more space in my room for more terrariums but the moment I move to a bigger place I'll have more corn snakes :D.

Ok, I'll show you my corns in the photo gallery.

By the way, I have a dog, too, and two budgies.

No problem. Reading your post three times encouraged me to buy Kathy Love's book. I will get it next week. Wait and see how it increases my corn snake-owning disease:crazy01:.;)

Welcome to the forum mrs Snape ! I'm from Belgium too, lots of europeans around it seems :)
Ouch damn I ordered the book too! And my bf is starting to raise his eyebrows every time he sees me looking at a snakepic ("oh no not another one!")
The disease is terminal... :D
