Hello yall!

My name is Jack and I am a mouse fancier, active with the East Coast Mouse Association (we breed and show exhibition mice, pretty similar to dog shows) and the American Fancy Rat and Mouse Association.

Until recently I had no snakes, but I am now temporarily (till December) babysitting two of my friend's snakes, a 4' long orange and red cornsnake and a 5-6' long black rat snake. I'm going to post a question about the rat snake in the appropriate forum when I find it.

Since my mice cost thousands of dollars/Euros to import, breed, and maintain, needless to say I have never been overly fond of snakes for obvious reasons (haha) but I don't particularly hate them either.

I just thought I'd say hi, and it's good to be here! :)

Peace,
Jack

I've had pet mice that I had no intention of feeding to anything. Now that I'm looking for my first snake, I've found the two to be completely different. It's just the food chain right?

Welcome!

Hello & welcome from Idaho! If you haven't already found the right forum for your question, the General Chit Chat section would be best. It gets lots of action too, so your question should be answered fairly fast.
