Hello from North Carolina

Scott
I am from the Charlotte area, and my son and I bought our first corn snake "McQueen" in October 2009.

I owe my newly found snake obsession to my son, who is 4 years old.

This past week, we bought an anery motley from homegrownherps at the Charlotte Repticon show, and my ingenious little boy insisted on buying a female, which later I found out: "Well Daddy, later on McQueen and Rain will have babies..."

His master plan came to light, and I could only chuckle and be thankful that we both share the same passion.

Hopefully we will have many years together, enjoying these wonderful corn snakes!

And BTW, what is the best method to stop my urge to buy more reptiles? LOL
:grabbit:

Hello & welcome from Idaho! You've come to the wrong place if you want to get over a herp addiction, we're all enablers here!

Hi,
I was at the Charlotte/Concord show last weekend, came intending to buy 1 snake, ended up with 2. Rico and Carlotta. I know you get there and see all those pretty babies and you just can't stop yourself. My friend ended up with a new one also, Checkers (who hangs with Medusa). And we're planning on going to the show in Columbia in March so we can see all the stuff they can't bring into NC. I know I am hopefully not going to get any more:nope:...but it is difficult.

Good luck with McQueen and Rain.:wavey:

Welcome! LOL I caught the snake bug from my son as well...technically Bubblegum is HIS but I think he loves me more....okay fine! He loves my boy more but still....I luvs him!

There is no cure... I went to Charlotte Repticon to buy supplies and ended up with 2 more snakes. So I figure at the fall con I'll buy one more for an even 4,

Good to see another local!
