Hey everyone. My name is Amanda. I joined this forum because I just recently purchased my first snake (a grey rat snake), and I can already see that I will be having some questions about it that I hope some of you could help me with.

Hello and welcome to the forums :)
Rat snake husbandry is almost identicle to corn husbandry... After all corns ARE rat snakes.

Any question, just ask :)

Thank you.
I just posted somewhat of a long post in the behavior forum. I'd appreciate it if you could help me out with that question.

use the search button up top for specific topic and also check out the faq's section as allot of basic questions have been answered before. welcome to the site and post some pics. :)

I can't really get any better ones until I am able to get him out of the tank. I just brought him home so he doesn't want to be picked up yet.

He hasn't got a name yet either... Nothing seems to fit. I am leaning towards Kade though.
