Hi, I'm James and I joined these forums a few months ago, but haven't gotten around to posting, so here I am! I am 13 years of age and I have two beautiful corns named Caesar and crystal, (I will put pictures up soon) I'm not sure what else to say about myself, so I guess I'll share a little about my corns......
Caesar is my first corn, I got him when he was only a few weeks old, I kind of tricked my mom into it, I had just heard of an exotic pet store, and at the time I was reading about tarantulas, and as any 8 year old would, I wanted one as a pet......Anyway, we got to the pet store and my mom called to me as me and my dad were getting out of the car, "Nothing with more than four legs honey!" not expecting me to even ask for a new pet.....After looking at the tarantulas, I found myself staring at the baby corn snakes, (They have a kind of magnetic pull, don't they?) I then called my mom...."Mom, snakes don't have legs at all....." ....SCORE
My second corn, Crystal, I got at a local reptile convention about a year ago, at the time I was looking for a mate for Caesar, and when I saw her, I had to give in, she was beautiful, she was a year old and the dealer said she would be ready for breeding in a couple of years, I got her, took her home and set up a home for her.
The next day I looked in her cage and it was covered in mites! I had no idea what to do, so I called a herpetologist friend of mine and he told me what to do, never saw the mites again....
So that's a little about me, and a little about my corns, have a good day!
