Hello everyone, new guy here.

In a matter of weeks I will have my very own Corn Snake, I cannot wait. The past few days have been excessive research as I want to be completely prepared, decided to join to seek advice, and once I get the snake to talk with others who own these amazing animals.

I am new to snakes, but I have owned a Chinese Water Dragon and Green Iguana before, but I know that snakes and lizards have different needs, its certainly going to be fun preparing for the new member of the family.

Welcome to the addiction! :wavey:

Do you know what morph you'll be getting?

Welcome, I'm new to the hobby too :)
this is a beautiful forum, lot of nice people and useful information :) :)

Welcome to you! Hope you have a great time.

Ermmmm... now remember. When you finally get your corn, we'd love to see PICS! LOL.

Welcome nice to have a new member..be sure and post pics after your new guy has been through the 5-10 day no hold settle in period...wouldn't want to stress the new one out!! just for pics.

Corn snakes are illegal in Oz, you might want to think again about getting one. I'm sure you know more about the reasons behind the ban than I do, but to me it seems a good idea to protect native wildlife. Also it would mean never being able to use a vet if your pet became ill, otherwise it would be confiscated and destroyed.
