So what do you guys think? Shall she be a:

Edit (meaning Joyous in the language of Anglo-Saxon)
Seize (meaning Sixteen in French (Sixteenth birthday))
August (the month She was born in (she's 2 months old according to the pet store))
Lind (meaning Snake in German)

THANK YOU!

Aw such a beautiful wee snake you have there! I voted too, good luck making your choice!

She's REALLY pretty!!! Congrats!!!
I don't know if the vote is supposed to be "secret" or not, but I voted for "August". It also means "respected" or "renown" or "of good repute". LOL.

Now watch her be a "hateling". LOL!!!!

Sorry, but 'Lind' is a word that not exist in german. The most similar word (in my mind) is 'Linde' and that is a kind of tree. Snake in german is 'Schlange'.
I vote for August (it is also an old German name for males).

I liked Edit, but I'm saying it like Edith except the end.. Is that how it's meant? Interesting name!

Interesting, I always thought August meant "healthy", vigorous", or even "bold".
I still vote August

I'm with Jadie! Teardrop!

And Tom, you were right about "august;" it had those meanings also.

Well, honestly, I came up with those definitions "off the top of my head" and was close.

Actual definitions for August... from this link...http://www.answers.com/topic/august
  1. Inspiring awe or admiration; majestic: the august presence of the monarch. See synonyms at grand.
  2. Venerable for reasons of age or high rank.
My definitions are "close". LOL!

I still stick with August... because of the 1st definition.

i say august cos i dunno she jus looks like an august and then if she tuns out to acc be a boy august is stilla good name :D
