Im sorry i didnt mean it like that. i just meant i wanted something a little larger, or maybe a little different or more challenging care than a corn, thats all. corns are cool no doubt, and i loved mine til (b4 i knew better) i fed a live rat overnight and well, i rather not say what happened but use ur imagination.

Don't make up your mind until you've gone to a show, seen adult size of these animals, and handled each type. I was having trouble thinking of what kind of boa/larger snake to get as well. After going to several shows, handling and looking at animals, the snake I chose was quite different than what I had originally thought of.

Pits get my vote.
A) more personality than a lot of other colubrids (as evidenced by Sid's video! haha!)
B) They'll get big and impressive, but definitely not too big for one person to handle alone (as you already said)
C) They're just so cool looking! Gotta love 'em.

My favorite look on the pits is the Whitesided Bulls... :)

Blood Python all the way...! Or a ball python morph...
Not all bloods are horrible to take care of, look for the right individual. VPI has the best bloods in the world!

My friends had a corn snake for about two years now, the snakes called george and "he" is about 4ft long, my friends wanted another corn for a while now, and i was thinking of getting him one for christmas, but only if its ok to put the new one in with George (dont wana spend too much on my pal, in the way of new tank etc!) so yeh... would it be ok?? First you should start your own thread In "misc. Cornsnakes diss". Also do a search on co-habitation in this forum. But my vote would be no you cannot put them together. susang
