My gut-reaction is to agree with Lenny and Elle, but .... Assuming you are serious about your question ....

Is the mouse alive or dead? If it's alive, take it out before it harms your snake. If it's dead, get your snake out 'cause that's gotta' stink to high heaven. Clean the tank/viv thoroughly.

And provide more information, such as: snake size, gender, tank temps, odd behaviors, etc. Folks need to have an idea of what you're doing (or not doing) before they can offer advice.

This person came into Chat last night, saying everything with caps lock on. We seriously thought it was a joke at first. And S/he (seriously who knows these days?) said the same thing about a mouse being in there a month. I thought s/he just worded it wrong.
They said it was a live mouse. S/he put in two live mice, the snake ate one. and the other is apparently STILL in the tank!
Seriously, give the snake away to someone who can properly take care of the poor animal. You are not right for his hobby.

Being their first post, I just thought it was a troll and wanted to start some flax, so I did go with my gut reaction. I don't visit the chat very often, cause of poor typing skills, and didn't know they posted their too. Still sounds like a troll to me.

I have to agree with Marty. You should have read alot of info before feeding a snake a live mouse. Did you just drop them in there and leave? I'm serprised your snake didn't get injured.

And if this is a troll, then I hope so too.

As well as being a troll (We hope), Wild Thing Kelly also hijacked your original thread. How is your female Sedda?

Mouse

MY SNAKE IS NOT A POOR SNAKE HE IS A VERY HAPPY AND HEALTHY SNAKE EXCEPT FOR THIS FIRST TIME NOT EATTING I HAVE HAD HIM SENSE IT WAS A new born and now he is grown and also he will not eat frozen mice he only likes them alive and he just shed last night . !

Please start a new thread with your problem and try to be a little less irrational, and if possible, leave the caps lock OFF!

Then maybe you can get some help and advise that will ensure your snakes wellbeing...

she always looks better with every passing week. She is getting to normal weight and is happier and sweeter then when I got them :D She's a good eater (didn't want to have anything to do with the mice at first), I've never seen a snake swollow a mouse as fast as she does.
