So Cal Snake Addict
It's has been years since I've seen kingsnakes in the wild. Now all of the sudden they seem to be everywhere, even at work. I caught the first one trying to hide under a car in the parking lot at work a couple months ago. The 2nd was last Tuesday on the side of the building where I work. And the 3rd was last Friday inside the building. Luckily none were injuried or worse as a lot of people at work FEAR snakes. The first 2 were released away from busy areas along the river out by our house. One of the few people at work that is not afraid of snakes is interested in the 3rd. Pictures are in order of capture.

Cool finds! The third snake shown is a cute little fella :) I wish there were more snakes around my part of the globe...
 
OOOOH! Lucky lucky! Is that the standard pattern in your area? I thought their stripes usually go vertical..

Very pretty little guys. We used to see them around Santa Barbara area, it's been many many years (since I was a kid) that I've seen one wild..
