Wow Jaxom, you seem to have gotten under the skin of one of the least confrontational people here. I'm sure you're very proud.

not me...........................................yet. :grin01:
Sure you can! If I showed you 10 photos and told you that 7 of them are different is some way and for you to pick them out, even if you picked all 3 of the not-different photos, you'll have chosen 4 that had to right...that's 57% of the different ones...and 40% of the total 10...better than the self-proclaimed Lord and Ruler of Genetics' original score!

Apparantly it's "amellava", and I'm still not sure what it is. Bad translation of lavamel?

Well, it would have been more accurate to place Marc Vervest's quote before mine, since mine was a reply to his in the original thread. I don't like either term (i.e. lavamel, amelava), and you won't see me using either unless it's in response to an immediate prior usage by someone else. The terms give the impression that lava and amel have a similar relationship to each other as ultra and amel. But since it is unlikely that I will purchase or hatch any of these, I guess it doesn't matter much to me. :)

Sorry about that. I have the posts newest first, so yours was on top. Didn't mean to imply anything, just trying to find out what the word meant.

No problem. I just wanted to distance myself from that horrendous name! :grin01:

You set up an unrealistic and meaningless test, the purpose of which was to make me look bad. I did too well on it for you to get your jollies putting me down. Still ticked? Good, you deserved to eat crow.

Is the fight over yet... i didn't know that there were so many fights like this in the genetic treads. Wow.
LOL! This is nothing! Meerly some minor squabbling amongst some stubborn not-ready-to-be-considered-old farts. If you REALLY want to see some fights over genetics, try discussing hets in relation to dominance and co-dominance with the boa and python crowd!
