Hey guys long time no see (pics)

Corny Noob

Proud Momma
"Holy cow who is that?!" :shrugs:

How are you folks all doing? I've been so busy lately with my full time mothering job. Since I've last been here I lost my job as a manager at KB toys when we went bankrupt, took another job, and eventually ended up at Swarovski Crystal.

Connor is going to be 14 months next weds, he has 10 teeth with 11 and 12 soon on the way, he's walking but not talking yet.
I finally got my Tattoo with his name on it (see pics below I still need to take a healed picture)
I didn't really mention it much here but my son's father and I did split up, about a year ago now as it so happens. He didn't want to go to counseling and I moved back home with my parents. Now a year later he wants to try counseling and I feel I owe it to Connor and myself so I'm not left wondering "what if" we start on thursday we shall see what happens.

I also had to rehome one of my snakes. I'm now down to Nagini my original 06 Charcoal and Solstice my pastel mot 07 from Don Soderberg. Nagini is huge and actually initiated me into the bite club a month or so ago, I stupidly went to feed her after playing with my rat and never washed my hands. Sure scared the living day lights out of me. She's getting to be rather large now, hopefully picture updates sometime soonish. Solstice however was a rather slow grower and we have had a regurge but that was actually through a tempature mishap. I think he's just genetically a slow grower however, despite feeding him as often as I did everyone else. I just moved him into his new 20L tank this weekend and he's about 90 (told you he was small).
As far as the rest of my pets, my love bird passed away several months ago from old age, and my supposedly male parakeet suddenly had an egg, became eggbound and it cracked and then passed away in a matter of two days. So I have a dumbo Rat named Nico, Connor has a Giant Betta named Andre (get it?) and I have the two snakes.

Ok all done :)

Nice pics! He's so big and cute!! You're looking great, too! I say, give it a try. People change a lot, their priorities change, they find out that things weren't as bad as they thought and being away isn't as great as they imagined. Good luck!

Thanks, I figure we'll need it, as he still seems to be the same person and this actually dragged me away from a perfectly content relationship with a new man, but we were only 3 months into it, and even after discussing it with him he understood that I needed to do this for Connor. And that if it doesn't work out between me and his father that my relationship with him (the beau) would be a lot stronger without having to worry about my ex anymore.

And I really should renew my subscription to Reptiles magazine I miss it. But this Science Museum is cool they often do changing exhibits like this, a couple of years ago it was, Frogs! A Chorus of Colors. I loved that exhibit as well.

Aww he's so cute..! I have been wondering how you guys have been :) I am glad to see everything is going great. Hes gonna grow up loving animals and thats great :)

You don't know me at all, but you and your son look great! Kewl pics!

Haha ok well thanks :)

And yeah I sure hope he does grow up to love animals, he waves and smiles and points at them all the time.
Every morning when we get up and I go into his room I tell him good morning, point to his 2.5 tank and ask him if he said good morning to his fish. Then he waves at the fish...so cute <3

My kids are the same... they're the first ones to run up and hold them and even when we've been to the zoo a million times, they always enjoy it. Looks like you're raising the next generation of herper!

BTW, the pics of all the animals are kewl too! Perhaps one day, I'll get a leachy!!! THAT would be awesome.

He's gonna be beside himself when he's actually old enough to start petting the snakes. He loves my mother's birds my rat and the snakes.

Hey it's been awhile, Connor is getting so big and handsome. I love his shirt in the first picture and your tattoo is very pretty.

Merlin is doing well, but he is going through the spring icth and keeps destroying his tank looking for a girlfriend. I think this summer I'll buy him a nice girlfriend for next year.

Here are some pictures of Merlin from tonight, he wanted to say hello too.

I was going to ask you how he was doing! Thank you so much, I feel so silly I have tears welling up in my eyes right now he's still so handsome.

Edit: Also yeah I was hoping someone would notice I put him in a gecko shirt to go see the geckos heh

It's not silly, I still tear up about a snake I had to find a home for 5 or 6 years ago, but Merlin is doing great. Although I think he is enjoying driving me nuts. He really wants to breed and circles his tank all day except for a couple hours knocking everything over and getting aspen in his water, but he is a good boy otherwise.

Welcome back!!
I'm not sure if you were still hanging around here when I first started, but I do remember going through quite a bit of your photos and postings when I did the Year In Review. You've definitely been missed. :D

Silly Robbie I know you :p thanks for the warm welcome :D

And yeah Katie he was driving us nuts too getting aspen in his dish and constantly knocking it over, why do you think we filled it in with cement?

I was wondering about the cement, I dropped it on my toe the other day lol. I gave him a bigger water bowel when I moved him to a 40 gallon and he has yet to dump the water bowel but he does love to dump the aspen in it. I guess he thinks he deserves special attention, which I guess he gets because he is the only one who has a tank in the family room instead of a tub so he probably is more spoiled then the rest lol.
