Hey all! I am trying to decide between two beautiful 6-7 month old corns. A Ultra Anery Tessera Strawberry and a Tequila Sunrise Snow. Any suggestions?

Well and ultra anery corns can get pretty colorful, so I think that combo would look great with the tessera pattern.

Oh good to know. I am very new to all of the morphs, so any input is very much appreciated. Thank you! This is a strawberry version, so I think it will just remain a light pink and white, like a snow minus the yellow/orange tones. What do you think?

Per the VMS site, that tessera is an ultramel anery tessera, het for strawberry. As such it shouldn't be showing the strawberry trait. It's a pretty little tessera, but don't be surprised if it gets a lot of yellow as it gets older.

Well the tequila sunrise will also make the snow very colorful, usually with lots of yellow along the neck and head.

I have a tequila sunrise ultramel anery from 2013 who is pretty colorful. She has lots of yellow on her head and neck, pale pink, and grays and white.

I don't mind yellow actually. The color/pattern on the tessera is so crisp and clean now. I just pulled the trigger and bought the tessera. Hopefully I don't regret it.

I think the yellow and white snakes are so exotic looking. Your tequila sunrise snow sounds beautiful. If I wanted all white, I would've just gotten the male blizzard they have (almost did). I really like the patterns and color bursts of these other options though.

I highly doubt you will be disappointed. It's really hard to go wrong with tesseras. Ultramel aneries are very variable and I think this one is going to be gorgeous with the soft contrast. Plus it should be fun watching the colors change with each and every shed. Be sure to keep us updated with pics.

Hello and welcome! Wonderful choice with your first corn! I got my second and third corn snakes from VMS years ago, was also the first reptiles I ever had shipped. I was very happy with the whole process.

That is great to hear! I will definitely be updating with pics. I don't have any name ideas yet! LMK if you have any. He is a boy. I think his colors will be gorgeous as well. I love the soft contrast and heavy white.

So glad I went with VMS then! I'm glad you had such a good experience. I liked the fact that I got to choose my actual snake as opposed to just choosing the morph.
