hi...originally trying to find these forums b/c I didn't know it was cornsnakes with an s at the end lol
anyway, I just got back from L.A....attempting to breed my adult corns for the first time...I don't think it worked and will try putting them back together...she's proven, he's not...though I did come home to find 2 of my crestie eggs hatched, so I'll put up pics of my corns and the new baby geckos (sorry if everything has to be corns lol...not clear on that)...very frustated with my baby ghost though...came to me having eaten f/t fine...he ate 2 the first time for me, regurged 2 the next week, I waited 10 days and he ate 1 pinkie fine, and now hasn't eaten for the past month...it's so frustating and worrisome

Welcome to the forums!

Pull up a thread, have a drink, and who knows where this place will take you :crazy02: . The little geckos are great...

Hey there and welcome! I'm guessing the first pic is a butter cos I've never seen a snow so yellow!!! Lovely looking snake! What are you breeding? Have you been into reptiles long? Good luck with your snakes and have a great time in the forums.....

Yeah, the photos section is just for cornsnakes and we have a chit-chat section for everything else...you'll find it easy once you get in the swing of things

As for the regurge...THIS IS SERIOUS....read this thread...

http://www.cornsnakes.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17308&highlight=regurge

read post number 3

I'm sorry to hear about your little ghost not being 100%

You sound like you know what you're doing but it's always good to read up the info again just to be sure.

You'll see that there are a lot of different catagories for posting your questions and comments, the more accurately you chose which area to post your thread, the better we can help you.

Good luck,
Adèle

Hi and welcome! Sweet butter and caramel (which I am assuming is the pair you are trying to breed)! As mentioned, read the threads of regurges and wishing you the best of luck with your little ghost, as well as on your breeding attempt!

hi terri and all

thanks...I read the regurge post...that's basically what I've been doing...the time it regurged was right after a few people came to visit 2 days after he ate, guess it made him too nervous...the only time I've picked him up was once or twice to clean his cage quickly...he did eat and keep the one down that was 10 days after his regurge but is looking thin now...I know someone whose ghost had a problem eating and died and will have to ask, but think mine is from the same batch
my next thought is to move him from the living room into my bedroom and see if that works...should I also cut a hole in the side of a tupperware and put that in the tank to see if he'll eat in there?

yes, I'm trying to breed my butter and caramel...they are really pretty and I haven't seen many quite like them...they're both sweet and the female is especially friendly, crawling from arm to arm behind my head usually

I breed crested geckos...all my animals (except some babies) can be seen on my webpage www.hatchingherps.bravehost.com
