Hi Tyler :wavey: Welcome to the forum!

Serpenco is a great place to get a corn snake from.

If you have any questions about corn snakes before you get one, there are lots of helpful people here.

Thanks, Mizumi or misumi i forget how my friend spells his snake's name but he lives down the street from me so I kinda now about corn snakes and habitats not to mention I created this user like a week ago and observe discussions and stuff to learn here and there.........:bounce::bounce: Also about serpenco where is it located? I live in Florida and am hoping to buy one of his fluorescents or crimsons next year when they are both available to choose from.....the owner is Rich Z. right? well anyways I am looking around and have a 20 gallon long for my new snake until larger then i have a 40 gallon breeder aquarium. I am buying 2 hides when the time comes and unsure about substrate........ Also where is the best place to buy frozen rodents? rodent pro, mice direct? anybody please post your opinion and or tips thanks,

Serpenco is in Florida and is owned by Rich Z. Either choice that you make will be great, they are both beautiful corns. If Rich doesn't have any available also check Cornutopia. It is owned by Kathy Love. She is also in Florida.

If you start out with a hatchling snake, you may want to get a smaller tank. A 10 gallon would be a great size for the smaller snakes. Then after a year you can move it up to a larger size. If you do use the 20 gallon just add extra hides.

I recommend aspen for the substrate. It is easy to clean and safe for the snake.

I get my frozen mice from The Mouse Factory. I like them because the mice look great and they also have smaller amounts for their minimum order. They offer a 50 qty of pinks where the smallest you can get at Rodentpro is 100.

Also, you didn't mention it, but make sure you have a heat source for your snake.

If you have any more questions or if you need more opinions just ask.

Tyler, where are you in Florida? There are a whole bunch of us here! I'm in Alachua, by Gainesville.

I demand that you post beardie pics in General Chit Chat! I have one very spoiled dragon, Isabel. She's a two year old citrus.
