Okay at first with our old snakes we had wood chips that when we bought them they came with them we still ahev a huge bag of them I believe their aspen but then my gf upstairs who has a huge beautiful albino corn snake she suggested using these bricks from the pet store you put them in a plastic tub and them add water here's a photo of what they look like before you add water franko my snake I'm wondering how often do I change the material that he slides around on and if it's should be staying moist because right now it took about two weeks but it's completely dried out so the stuff I'm using is called plantation soil tropical terrarium substrate and for 15 dollars it comes with three bricks one brick covers his 3 foot tank but should I change it when it drys up or should I spray it and keep it moist I'm not sure

Also the spot over the heating pad took the longest to dry out obviously

I think the only thing you'd need to worry about is the substrate being too damp, corns don't need high humidity and wet substrate can cause scale rot so I wouldn't keep it moist. I'd let it dry up totally before using it and clean everything out once a month - spot clean when necessary though. So in short, I'd use a dry substrate instead of letting it be wet.

Also, do you have a second hide on the other side of the tank? They need one each side so they can choose where they want to be.

I agree, the dry soil is fine. Switch over to aspen once your done with the bricks. From what I can see (your photos are a little large on my screen) your set up looks pretty good. You may want to get a deeper water dish. Another option to give your snake more coverage would be to move the vines on top of the branch and add another hide.

As long as you have a UTH on one side it looks like you're in good shape! Corns are pretty hardy.

Well , I detest Aspen for starters .. That stuff you're using - Plantation soil ... is also know as Eco-Earth , I used it successfully with BRBs as they did well on damp substrate ( I covered it all with moss so it looked amazing and the soil bits didn't get everywhere ) .

Anyways ... I use Orchid bark for all my bright coloured and albino snakes . It's dark brown and makes albino snakes really stand out !!

You might want to consider using Carefresh bedding. Snake can burrow. It is very easy to spot clean and is economical if you buy the big bag. It is mid to dark tan so light snakes look good. You can also get it in white for a nice contrast with the dark corns. It might be less labor intensive than the bricks.

Thanks but should I keep it moist with a spray bottle when it drys out or change it all together

Corns don't need high humidity so their bedding should not be moist. I have sphagnum moss in a hide and mist that at shed time. If your cage is under 30% humidity, try moving the water bowl closer to the UTH to facilitate the addition of moisture into the air.
