Hi White Okeetee

Simon

Corn Manic
This is a hi white okeetee that I got from Kathy.
This one was born without a tail when it first hatched out in Kathy Love's house~

Hope you like these photos!!!

Hope you're able to see these photos and also hope you all enjoyed her~

Thanks for looking!

yeah it's a shame on the tail part. So it's going to be my pet from now on.

But man..I have always wanted these hi whites so much already

I really do thank Kathy for letting it go to me.
I have been bugging her so many times about this beauty~
Even though it's a tailless one I am really proud of it and I love this one so much!!

Congratulations on the wonderful new pet! She is AWESOME! I hope you aren't going to name her "Stubby" or some other name like it. It might give her a complex ) She deserves an elegant name!

Thanks all!!!

red_dragon,

I didn't need to pay for her. I got it for free from Kathy. But then I did buy a few snakes from her too. Also I have been bugging her for so long maybe she just wanted me to go away....lol.....

But really Kathy was only able to produce 2 of these. One is the one that she has right now and kept back. The only problem is that that hi white okeetee that Kathy kept back have been producing slugs all the time. The second one is this one, tail-less...it was born like that....so.....I guess she doesn't have the luck in producing these hi white okeetees~

LOL....
I am calling her Tail-less right now....
do you have a better idea for me for its name?

stumpy,
i have a a hybino leo called stumpy who lost its tail :D

would have though it may still bred ,and produce tail corns ?

piptic,

LOL...stumpy...lol....I dont know it kind of makes it sound like that it's short...not tail less...lol~ but its a good name too~

I don't konw if this one will breed or not. But either way I am not going to try. Why would I want to risk anything like that right? If I produce a whole batch of normal het tail less corns and I sell those out...the tail-less genes is going to be every where..so I wouldn't really want that...so just a nice new addition to my pets is good enough~~

Carol,

yeah you really should come up to my place and take a look at her in real life...that the coloration is even more intesed!

If the snake were male, I would heartily recommend Long John Silver after the pirate in Treasure Island, with the pegleg! But since she's a girl, some variation? Johnnie?

well its still early this side of the pond simon,06.32 and thinking about it ,yeah best not try breeding ,for the reason you gave,
still a beautiful corn thou.
pipatic

yeah I don't want to risk putting that 'gene' into the corn world.
We already have tons of genetic issues to play with anyway so why bother putting another one in (if this tail less is genetical....which I really doubt...but heck...I don't even know if this hi white okeetee is a male or female...can't check...lol....I can't probe it nor can I pop it....

The thing that I like best is that it eats and poops fine.....so who said that tail less are worth less? LOL~~~

I truely am really proud of it~~

I would have to think that it probably wouldn't be able to breed anyway...at least if it is a male. The "plumbing" would have to be too abnormal.

You're doing a good thing by not attempting to breed it.

As for names, Long John Silver would have been an appropriate name if it was a male. You could just call it "Silver" since you don't know the gender.

CornCrazy,

LOL "Long John Silver"? LOL!! I don't know...kind of makes me think of a weird hot dog....don't ask me why..I don't know....

Yeah I don't think that it'll be able to breed....males are suppose to have it's hemipense at the back of the tail...I don't really see a tail so I assume that it can't be a male. If it's a female...well I don't really know how a male should copulate with this gal then...I don't think that he'll be able to lift her tail up....lol~~

I like the name Silver~
I think that I might just name her that~
Silver.....cool name~

Simon,

Silver is an elegant name for a jewel of a snake! Let us know if that is what you decide on!
