Sweetie has clearly decided which hide is her favorite. Now I am unsure of where I should put it. She loves her coconut hut and completely ignores the hollow log. If I put the coconut on the cool side, she will spend all day long on the cool side. If I move it to the warm side, she will stay on the warm side. She really likes that hide! Since she refuses to use the other one and anything else I try to give her like toilet paper tubes, and I am a little short on cash right now to buy her a second coconut (darn rent!), where is the best place to put it? I really don't want to leave it on the cool side as I have turned off my heat and it gets pretty chilly at night. But I worry she might get too hot on the warm side. Should I move her coconut to the middle, maybe right on the edge of the uth until I can get her a second coconut?

I'd put it on the warm side. She can always leave if it's too warm. That's better than not digesting because she won't go over to the warm side.

I have it on the warm side right now. I guess I'll just leave it there. Hopefully by the time she sheds (she's in blue now), I'll have a few extra dollars to go get another coconut. That way she can have one at each end.
