Ok I have had my corn for a little over a month and he still has not shedded so I am worried.

Today he made me ask if he is retarded he is slithering around digging his face into the aspen.....

whats he doing tomorrow is feed day so hmmmmm help?

I dont think your snake is retarted just because he hasnt shed yet. Him sticking his head in the aspen is just that he wants to take the old skin off, and i never feed my snake when he's going into shed because i tried feeding him when he was in shed and he didnt want it. Try feeding him tomorow. What stage of shed is he in right now?

No that is correct he has not shedded and does not look like he is shedding if he is should I spray a little mist in their or give him a warm bath to help

Ok. When you do see that he is about to shed, you might want to mist the tank a little to get the humidity up, and i would only give him a bath when you see that his shed is incomplete or he's having troubles. It is just fine if you feed him tomorow, its just like feeding him any other day. I say its nothing to worry about. Oh...and your snake isnt retarted ;)

And some of them like to dig burrows in the aspen with their noses anyway! Both Humphrey & Icabod engage in the tunnel building thing regularly. Attitude just digs into her aspen & collapses it on top of herself so that I can't find her!

Whenever i change the aspen, i fluf it up and then just put the hides on top, but i dont push it down, i feel that helps the snake tunnel easier. And i really never pack down the aspen.
