Holy Smokes look what Ralph Davis Produced.

Okay, so if I won _that_ BP in a raffle, I'd probably have to keep it!!!

Nanci,
Yeah you would either keep it or sell it.
If its the first one? could be from $30,000 to $70,000.

I ams sure this is more than a double gene animal, I am betting it has about 4 - 5 genes in it.

But as we know how animals look when they are photographed, they just don't have that brightness or the colors are just a bit off. But damn, if the colors are off here, just imagine it in person.

Huh? Desert is its own morph. There are two types, recessive and co-dominant. Clown is also its own morph as well. Not sure where you're getting that a desert is inherently het for clown.

It definitely seems to have clown in it, probably super pastel as well, but even then, its just so bright!! Could be some new gene involved as well.

Is it? I could be wrong - I was talking about it with Mark at the CRBE and he told me that they were het for it. Still can't understand why the morph itself (Desert) is so damn expensive.

That needed high lighting.... Have you got blood in your veins......

I seem to be more attracted to darker snakes. :p

I'm not too attracted to BPs for some reason. What catches my eye mostly with those is the normals, spiders, ivory, and the two lucy morphs. xDDD

WOW....that is one killer BP that is sure to bring in the $$ :D

My bet is it's a holdback for future breeding and producing copies of itself. You could make much more money doing that, I think, and I'm sure the guy who produced it knows how he did it.

Ralph Davis is one of the big names in the hobby. He is one of the Big Name Breeders for Ball Pythons, was the one to do the lessers platinums, i believe and one of the names behind USARK.

I think it is a sunkissed amel blood stripe ball python :sidestep:

Bwahahahaha!

I think the colors on that BP are pretty well spot on and the reason I say this is because I saw something called a "Magpie" at Tinley two weeks ago that was that same vibrant yellow but instead of the link looking stripe, it had black dots along it's spine. NERD has the Magpie but they don't show it on their site. Also the price was....NFS!

There are some really, really interesting things going on combining multiple morphs in BP land. I hope after this season, I will be a part of it!
