Homosassa Springs 2/28/10

Awesome pics!!

I especially love the Manatees. When I lived in Florida, we would go fishing in the canals on Cape Coral. We often saw Manatees in the canals. Sadly, we saw some with some pretty bad wounds from boats. :(

I love going to the Homosassa Wildlife Park! I live like 45 mins away and try to go as often as I can. I went to Silver Springs Attraction park and it was a dissapointment. Had full grown snakes in little 10 gallon tanks! Homosassa does a great job with their animals.

Ooo I visited Homosassa twice when I was in high school and loved the area and the wildlife park. I can't wait to go back someday!

Absolutely beautiful photography, you really captured the moment in a lot of those photos, and even some personality here and there :)
I really love the photo of the baby gators... And the red fox... Also the red wolf, the first bobcat and the 1st manatee.. Every photo has something beautiful about it..

Me thinks you have a great gift!!!! ;)

If you ever want to see/photograph a Crested Caracara in the wild, come visit me in Central FL! We have bunches of them! And many times they are super close and easy to photograph.

Apparently, the AFR I am working at, has a small population of Panthers too. I never saw one last season, but I am crossing my fingers this year. I would love to see one in the wild.

Those are awesome photos! Pam and I stopped there on our way back up from your place a couple weeks ago, but didn't have time to go on the tour. So we went to another state park further north, I cant remember which one it is now.

Katie, I have to agree with the consensus. You took some awesome shots! I really loved the big cats. I'm with you and Betsy. If I had the resources, that would be an awesome thing to do.

I hope to see more pictures of your visits later this year! You did a great job capturing everything! :)

I might just have to take you up on that this summer Angela!
