Housing two snakes in the same enclosure

Just to wrap this up for those of you that posted, I decided to go with one instead of two given that I've never owned a corn snake before. He'll be in a 20 long tank by himself. Thanks for the help everyone :)
Great decision!
Its good to see someone who genuinely cares for there pets. You're on the road to good snake husbandry.

BTW Tula, I know you and Ryan have issues, but he's not the only one who thinks that housing snakes together is beyond just irresponsible. I'm sure their are many others who just don't want to get into all that with you.

oh my dear lass im sure there are, and they know where i am if they want to take up some sort of dispute with me... :shrugs:

open invite

Then you are certifiably plum loco. Welcome to the club. :)

I used to think 10+ was crazy, then 20+, then 30+. Now I don't know where to draw the line. Maybe CornCrazy (Terri) isn't so crazy after all, with her 150+. :shrugs:

:-offtopic Anyone else sick of having to verify which is CornCrazy (Terri M.) and which is CrazyCorn (David H.) all the time? :grin01:

I have a 23L and when I first got my two corns I seperated them down the middle with a piece of glass. They would always find a way to get from one half of the tank to the other. I decided to take the glass out and they've been living together. There has been no change in their eating habits whatsoever. They even sleep together.

corns dont "sleep together" my dear, they simply share the same hiding or resting space...
much debated point, but they dont have the same characteristics as us humans... just pointing that out.
