How I spent christmas dinner

About half an hour after a MASSIVE, button popping turkey dinner at the in-laws, while I was digesting on the couch, my pager went off...

Sorry I got these pics mixed up, but this was the aftermath

We had to return twice the next day for flare ups.

We fought this fire for eight hours strait, that turkey dinner was burned off in the first quarter!!!:crazy01:

Holy crap thats terrible I can't imagine anyone losing their home especially on Christmas:( I could never fight a fire your pretty brave:)

It was actually a big work shop, three bays and office space on one side. It was loaded with "fuels". Oxygen/acetylene, tanks gas cans, oil drums...No one was injured aside from a couple minor ff injuries.

I found out later that somebody was actually living, more like couch surfing, in the office portion! Lucky for them it wasn't while they were sleeping!

Wow, thats a huge blaze. I have this intense fear of house fire because when I was 7 my house burned down (good thing I was in school at the time). That is a smell I will never forget!

At least no one was hurt!

Holy crap...this is just awful. One of my friends also had her house burn down on Christmas. Thank God no one was hurt!

Fires ARE awful but it made for an adrenaline pumping, exhausting, but pumped evening! I feel guilty for getting all pumped when people are loosing precious property, but it sorta keeps you going and as long as you don't act like you just got the game wining touch down, it's okay?!
