How long to wait to breed after feeding the snakes?

I have a female opal het stripe/motley and she just recently got big enough for me to feel comfortable breeding her. When I got a male opal het hypo motley from Doc, he told me that females will ovulate all summer after they shed if not bred. Well, "Adrianna" reached 375 grams and shed 3 weeks ago. I put "Tegan" in with her off and on for a couple weeks, but he had no interest in her. The last 3 days all of my females and males have been climbing the walls all day and night. I thought they might be smelling good. yesterday I put them together and withing 5 minutes they were hooked up.
I was going to put them together again today but realized that Adrianna ate last night. Should I wait at least 48 hours before I put them together again? or longer? I would hate for her to regurge because I put her with Tegan today.
I am new at this so any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Marsha

I only have one season of experience, but I was advised to put the pairs together every three days. So I fed the females on the night they bred, after a couple hours rest, so every six days, and the males on the night they bred, right away, every nine days. Then they would all have three days to digest before mating again.

Putting them together shouldn't be a problem, but there's no harm waiting either. I put all mine together whenever and never had a problem.

I put mine together every 3 days, and if it so happened that I was supposed to put them together on a sunday (their feeding day is saturday) I still put them together and everything went well and I would even witness copulation within seconds.
