I know this is probably an annoying question that you get asked over and over again, but I did search for it a bit Rich.. How many off spring are you expecting this year??

Heck, I really don't know. I haven't even keyed in the egg laying records into the spreadsheet yet. On one hand I held on to too many breeder females this year. But on the other hand, I relied on some young males in some plans that they let me down on. So I'm guessing between 4,000 and 6,000 all total. I want to cut that down next year to 2,000 to 3,000. This kind of work load is killing me (and my wife!).
 
4000 to 6000.. Rich, how is it done?? That in its self is a full time job for a few people just to take care of the group.. I can certainly understnad your wanting to cut down on what you have for stock, and I am sure your Wife would and will appreciate it..

Yeah..... time is the real issue. I'm just getting tired of working all of the time. Connie and I haven't had a vacation for more then around 3 days for about 15 years now and it's getting old. Yesterday I went through one of the rooms putting green dot markers on all the adults I plan to surplus. There are a BUNCH of them. I plan to terminate some projects completely.

Been also trying to get my 2006 list up, but I have no idea where the time goes each day. Guess I just have too many irons in the fire these days....
 
How many vivs do you have for all those snakes? Must be a lot...I can understand about the time, must be really tiring. Hard to keep track of the feeding as well I would imagine.
 
Each snake lives in it's own separate cage. And no, I don't know how many I have here..... :sidestep: Obviously more then is sane........
