How many times have you been bitten by your snake(s)?

Some substrate is made to be as harmless as possible if digested. Snakes can suffer from impaction bad sometimes, so it is a good idea to feed them in a seperate place. Also, if you feed the snake inside his own viv, you up the chances of the snake thinking that everything thats coming inside from above is food (ie a hand). Snakes aren't the world's smartest animals, but they can be taught habit. I try to start my snakes off like that as soon as possible. I've been bitten more times than I can count, but its a risk you take with all animals. Dogs will bite, cats will scratch...so on and so forth. Anyways, chances are, if you do get bitten, and if it's by a corn, it won't hurt, just startle the hell out of you!

Well, since I posted my first message on here, I have officially been biten by a hatchling cornsnake. It's one of mine that won't eat unless it's in a deli-cup and I was having a horrible time getting the snake in the cup (I don't know how you big breeders do it so easily so often). He was very pissed off and bit the tip of one of my fingers. He would have bit me again if he would have connected because the whole time I was trying to get him in the cup he was flailing around with his mouth open trying to get me. At least he wasn't too stressed out to eat, because I checked on him a few hours later and he had a full belly.

Edit:
I should add that it didn't hurt at all when the hatchling bit me.
