That sure is a lot! There's a lot of ATP going to work in those baby cells, they can grow like weeds! Are you weighing it empty? As long as the baby is passing food before you are feeding again, I don't think anything is wrong. I've yet to see a fat baby snake.

Figure that a hatchling will gain about 1/3 of the amount of food he eats in weight.

If you're feeding by the Munson plan, then you're most likely at the 1 medium to large pinky stage every 5-6 days right about now. Since those are about 3-4 grams, gaining
1 gram a week would be right on target.
